Waterford is northwest of Leesburg, and is considered to be part
of Western Loudoun, which is fairly rural. Hamilton, then Purcellville,
then Round Hill, then Bluemont are to the west; Lovettsville and
Hillsboro are to the northwest, and Lucketts is to the east. Aldie
and Middleburg are to the southwest. Sterling and Ashburn are in
the urban east.
